About Rabbi Krisch

Rabbi Yechiel Krisch is a scientist, rabbi, and award-winning journalist. His reporting on biology, medicine, technology, and the environment has appeared in The New York Times, Scientific American, and numerous other publications. He holds academic degrees in biomedicine, ordination as both a rabbi and a rabbinic judge, and is currently pursuing a PhD with research focused on health policy and medical ethics. He previously served as the Chabad emissary to Ithaca College. Rabbi Krisch currently manages communications for 70 biomedical laboratories at The Rockefeller University, serves on the rabbinic team at Beis Menachem Mendel Lubavitch of Pomona, and lectures around the world on the intersection of science and Torah, medical ethics, the Talmud, Chassidic philosophy, and the teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe.
